Strengthening cooperation and a vision for the future are the key messages from the 71st Connect Europe Conference.

This year’s Connect Europe Conference was dedicated to enhancing mutual dialogue, exchanging knowledge, and creating new strategic partnerships in light of contemporary challenges facing the European continent.

Special attention was given to strengthening the interconnectedness of Connect Europe network members, improving institutional activities, and preparing new initiatives that will further empower European communities and contribute to more inclusive development. The Assembly was opened by President Ilduza Husić, who emphasized the importance of joint action and solidarity in facing modern global challenges.

Yesterday’s closed meeting was dedicated to the adoption of the budget as well as the new strategy for 2026.

The conclusions of the 71st General Assembly clearly highlight the need for even stronger cooperation among members, greater visibility of European values, and the concretization of common goals. Connect Europe remains committed to its mission – to build bridges between nations, strengthen democratic processes, and amplify the voice of citizens across Europe. The hosting of the 71st Connect Europe Assembly in Sarajevo once again confirms that the city has the potential to be a center of regional cooperation and innovation.

Sarajevo always connects – cultures, ideas, and people. Today, it connects networks as well.
